False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These programs start at NCV level 2 and the bare minimum prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV amount 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level two.
