False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements
These programs start at NCV level 2 and the bare minimum prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
Once the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV amount 2 which is equivalent to an NQF level two.
On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that regular education is not necessarily the only means of starting to be an artisan or getting qualified therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is actually properly fitted to that student.
